Time to look at your current list of streaming services and figure out which one you're getting rid of because Disney has FINALLY announced that it's own streaming service, called Disney+, will be coming out on November 12th for $6.99 a month or about $69.99 a year!
Disney recently held an investor webcast where they revealed the first details about the streaming service and it's going to packed with content on its launch date!
Not only will EVERY Pixar, Disney Animated, Marvel, and Star Wars movie be available to watch, but they're also adding original shows like The Mandalorian which will premiere its first episode on November 12th.
Disney+ will also launch with practically EVERY Disney show, both animated and live-action, and be the home for re-living our childhoods with every Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) ready to watch at a moment's notice!
The service looks a lot like Netflix so if you think you are an expert at that then it'll be a breeze to switch over to Disney+!
There was so much other programming announced during the webcast, that I highlighted some of the big announcements:
- Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan will star in Falcon and The Winter Soldier based on the MCU characters
- Tom Hiddleston will return as Loki in the self-titled series
- Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will return as their MCU characters in Wandavision
- A Lady and the Tramp live-action series will premiere on Disney+
- Disney+ will be the streaming home for all 30 seasons of The Simpsons
- Every Star Wars movie will be on the service by 2020
- A show based on Monsters Inc. will come to the service in 2020
- The service will come with individual profiles and be ad-free
- You can download movies and shows for offline viewing
This is such a GAME-CHANGER and it looks like the entire Internet is ready to leave Netflix and jump to the Disney ship!
