All I Want for Christmas is You will be an animated movie based off the Mariah Carey's Christmas anthem of the same name.
While the song has always been considered a declaration of love, the film will follow a baby Mariah find love with... a puppy in a shop window.
Becoming devoted to the idea of getting the pet, her parents tell her to look after a less-lovable mutt called Jack first to prove she can take care of the pet.
Young Mariah then sets off on a mission to prove her worth - as Jack turned her family's life upside down.
All I Want for Christmas is You tells the story of puppy love
Universal, who are creating the film, said: "Like the song itself, Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You is destined to become an enduring family holiday classic."
