I feel like the solar eclipse was a HUGE DEAL to meteorologists across the country! Not only was everyone watching it, but to many it was the first time they would ever experience something like it!
That's why sometime you just need to have an honest moment on-air, like meteorologist Tom Welling did, during his segment on the eclipse!
He breaks down and cries, but it totally makes sense because it's his first eclipse!
They cut back to him later in the day and he was also hugging and celebrating people throughout the eclipse too!
Can he be my normal weatherman? I want to get just as excited about the weather as he does!!!
