Disney is Leaving Netflix to Launch its Own Streaming Service!

You may want to watch all the Disney movies on Netflix that you can right now, because the company just announced that it will launch its own streaming service in 2019!

According to Disney's press statement, the new service will:

"be the only place where U.S. viewers can watch new live action and animated movies from Disney and Pixar, including Toy Story 4, the Frozen sequel and The Lion King live-action movie. It will also feature content from the Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD.

Yep, looks like we're in the future where every channel is trying to have its own streaming service instead of a normal cable channel!

However, before Disney leaves Netflix for good, you should be able to see these movies on Netflix because of their prior partnership:

  • A Wrinkle in Time
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp
  • Avengers: Infinity War
  • Black Panther
  • Cars 3
  • Coco
  • Mary Poppins Returns
  • Mulan
  • Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2
  • Star Wars: The Last Jedi
  • Star Wars standalone Han Solo movie
  • The Incredibles 2
  • The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
  • Thor: Raganok
