Every week I throw it back to something awesome from any year before 2017 (or whatever year it is when you read this) that captured the hearts of hundreds of people and this week's throwback is now 20 years old and what inspired a lot of the summer blockbuster movies we see today, it's Men in Black!
Tell me that's not one of the best original songs from a movie you've ever heard?! Not only did Men in Black have a great song, but it had a great story based on Will Smith's Agent J and Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K who were two agents of a secret organization called the Men in Black. They would supervise and fight extraterrestrial lifeforms who live on Earth and hide their existence from ordinary humans. Plus, it was all based on a comic that eventually got its own animated television series as well!
Probably one of my favorite scenes to date, is when Will Smith's Agent J is trying out to be a part of the Men in Black and just has a horrible time trying to take the aptitude test. It's literally everything we all go through when we have to take a test! The franchise also had some of the best kids' meal toys ever, including a mini-neuralyzer! There is also a Men in Black ride at Universal Studios that you train to become an agent too!
