Every week I throw it back to something awesome from any year before 2017 (or whatever year it is when you read this) that captured the hearts of hundreds of people and this week's throwback is probably one of the best toys that involved shapes, planning ahead, and lighting, it's Lite-Brite!
Lite-Brite allowed you to make a glowing picture by putting tiny, multi-colored pegs into the black stand. All of it is then lit up by a light-bulb that is in the stand and it makes art! It's kind of like you made your own neon signs!
The even cooler thing was that you could get extra packs that were themed like Transformers, Star Wars, and other various pop culture icons and then hang the stand on your wall! Unfortunately you can't buy a new Lite-Brite anywhere unless you want to pay a pretty penny. But they were so awesome! That is until you lost all the pegs of one color and had to improvise!
