The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Is Nintendo's First $70 Game

Get ready to pay even more for some of your favorite Nintendo video games because the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be the first Nintendo game that retails for $70!

During its recent Nintendo Direct, the video game company announced that the sequel to 2017's Breath of the Wild will cost $69.99 instead of the standard $59.99 and it could be the first indication of a price change on big Nintendo games.

The increase does not appear to affect all upcoming Nintendo games like Pikmin 4 and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, but according to a spokesperson for Nintendo the company will determine retail price on a "case-by-case basis.”

You can see the trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom below, which comes out on May 12th, but are you willing to pay more for Nintendo games?
