Even though most people stopped dating in 2020 because of the pandemic, it turns out that one couple actually met in Animal Crossing and are getting married later this month!
A Utah man met an Indiana woman through an Animal Crossing Facebook group and after visiting each other's islands and helping each other out in the game they both decided to take their relationship to the next level.
In the following months, the pair worked on their islands in-game and talked every day out of game and they actually met in-person in August where the man proposed to his now fiancé!
The newlyweds are working on moving in together and planning their wedding, which will hopefully happen later this month!
Turns out you can find life anywhere, even in a video game!
