Jamie Foxx Will Return As Electro For The MCU's Third Spider-Man Film

Never say never because Jamie Foxx has just been confirmed to reprise his role as the villain Electro in Tom Holland's third Spider-Man film!

Sound familiar? You're right because Jamie Foxx played Electro back in 2014 for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 against Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and somehow he's crossing over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to our friends at The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx is currently in final talks to reprise the role and will become the second Spider-Man role to be re-used in the MCU after we had J.K. Simmons reprise his role of J. Jonah Jameson at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

There's currently no word on what the MCU's third Spider-Man film will be about and if Foxx will play the same character from 2014 or give a different portrayal of the villain, but we do know that the untitled third Spider-Man film will be completely under Marvel Studios' control so we can't wait to see what happens!
