'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back' Is Rereleasing In Theaters

Even though the movie industry has been severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic it's not stopping Star Wars from celebrating the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back by rereleasing the film back in theaters!

The film, which originally came out in 1980, will start playing in select theaters starting on September 25th and most theaters will have several showtimes every day for people to relive their childhood or, like me, see the movie for the first time in an actual theater!

Say what you will about going to a theater right now, but this is probably one of the biggest incentives for Star Wars fans to go to a theater because tickets are only $5 as well.

You can see The Empire Strikes Back's 40th Anniversary poster below and see where the film is playing near you HERE!
