You would think with the success of the MCU that America's favorite superheroes would either be Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, or Spider-Man, but it turns out everybody still loves Superman the most, even if he did have a bad couple of movies the past few years!
Over 2,000 Americans were surveyed by Visit Anaheim ahead of Avengers Campus opening at Disney California Adventure and said that Superman was their favorite superhero of all time with almost 47% of the vote. The heroes that came right behind him were Spider-Man and Batman.
Obviously, it's pretty easy to tell why they were the top three because they've had the most movies throughout time and even though the MCU does BIG NUMBERS at the box office, it wasn't until the past 10 years that Iron Man and Captain America became household names. Here are the top ten favorite heroes and villains in America:
