Get ready to see a younger version of Batman's ICONIC butler because Andy Serkis has OFFICIALLY been confirmed as taking on the role for Robert Pattinson's Batman movie!
Director Matt Reeves confirmed the casting earlier this week on Twitter stating that Serkis would play Alfred in The Batman and join the already-announced cast of Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, and Jeffrey Wright.
Serkis and Reeves previously worked together on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes so Reeves probably considers Serkis his good luck charm when it comes to films.
2021 is going to be interesting because Andy Serkis has already been tapped to direct Venom 2 in 2020, so you can expect the actor to not appear in any other projects in the next few years.
