Brandon Routh to Play Superman Again in the Next 'Arrowverse' Crossover

One of the biggest stories from San Diego Comic-Con for DC and Arrowverse fans had to be that Brandon Routh, who we have now come to know and love as Ray Palmer in DC's Legends of Tomorrow, will get a SECOND chance to play SUPERMAN in next year's crossover!

During the Arrow panel at Comic-Con Routh revealed that he was wearing a Kingdom Come Superman shirt to reveal that he would be playing that version of Superman in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover after already having played a different version of the character in 2006's Superman Returns.

Essentially the Kingdom Come version of Superman goes into hiding and eventually returns to inspire a new generation of superheroes and is known for his graying hair and black-and-red chest emblem.

The crossover will premiere in December with three episodes released that month, and two following in January and to hear how excited Routh is about returning to the iconic role then check out his interview below.
