Shazam! might be the first DCEU (DC Extended Universe) movie to get a ton of people to actually see it because it has been officially been certified as "Fresh" by Rotten Tomatoes with a 93% on their review website.
Rotten Tomatoes determines if a movie is certified fresh or not by pooling together reviews from other outlets and if most are positive reviews then the movie gets a higher score.
It's hard to imagine fans having a hard time with Shazam! because it FINALLY brings the humor and heart to DC movies that we have all been craving for! Not to mention Zachary Levi who needs to get a ton more roles after Shazam!
