Halo: Reach is Coming to The Master Chief Collection on Xbox and PC

Get ready to update The Master Chief Collection in your Xbox library because 343 Industries is bringing Halo: Reach to the collection later this year for Xbox AND PC!!

That's right! For the first time since the original Halo you will be able to play practically EVERYHalo game on a PC.

Halo: Reach and the PC version of the collection were both announced during Xbox's most recent Inside Xbox show. This means that The Master Chief Collection will now consist of SIX different Halo games, including: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4.

Now you're probably wondering how you can actually get Halo: Reach and that really depends on how you buy the collection. Here is Microsoft's official statement:

On Xbox One specifically, Halo: Reach’s multiplayer content (which includes Forge and the Theater) will be automatically included for everyone who owns Halo: The Master Chief Collection while Halo: Reach’s Campaign and Firefight experiences will be offered together as a premium digital add-on. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have access to the entirety of Halo: Reach within MCC as part of their subscription. Halo: Reach will look and play just as great when it lands on the Microsoft Store and Steam with Campaign, Multiplayer, and Firefight available for purchase as the first step in this PC journey.

If you don't have the collection then you might want to invest now, because it's a great deal for six of the essential Xbox games. Also PC players get ready to have something other than TurboTax to play on your compute.
