Fresh of the heels of becoming the biggest DC superhero movie at the box office Warner Bros. has announced that Aquaman 2 is officially happening.
The sequel will be written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick who co-wrote the first film, but as of right now James Wan hasn't been announced as the sequel's director. However, he is currently in negotiations for a return as the sequel's producer.
If you saw the first film then you know that they did tease a potential sequel in its end-credits scene so it's safe to assume that the next film will heavily feature Black Manta this time around instead of having him in the film for about 15 minutes like the first film did.
