Apex Legends Had Over 25 Million Players in Its First Week

If you've been looking for a new free-to-play game besides Fortnite , then you might want to try Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends which has now passed 25 million total players in just its first week!

Like Fortnite the new game is a battle royale where you team up with other players to be the last team standing and while no one knew what the game was about a week ago it is now poised to be a serious competitor next to Fortnite and other battle royale games.

At its peak concurrent players, number of players playing the game at one time, Apex Legends had over TWO MILLION players during the weekend.

Respawn's CEO, Vince Zampella, thanked the community with the following statement:

"From everyone here at Respawn, thank you. The community’s excitement for Apex Legends is electric, and we feel it here at the studio. We couldn’t have gotten where we are without you and look forward to having you on this journey with us."
