Move over Pixar because Sony Pictures ended 2018 with what can now be regard as the "best animated motion picture," otherwise known as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse!
The film was produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who created The LEGO Movie, and focuses on the story of Miles Morales who is an African-American/Puerto Rican Brooklyn teen who inherits the powers of Spider-Man and it was the late sleeper hit of December.
While the film has only grossed $133.9 million it is by far worth your money whether you're a kid or an adult!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is in theaters now and definitely expect it to be the front-runner for "Best Animated Motion Picture" at The Oscars!
