Get ready to start training for obstacles courses filled with crazy, slime-filled obstacles because Nickelodeon just announced that they are reviving Double Dare!!
Originally airing from 1986 to 1993, and briefly in 2000 the game show was hosted by Marc Summers and pitted two teams of kids against each other in trivia and physical challenges with the winning team competing in the show's infamous obstacle course. This included a human hamster wheel, the wringer, and the Double Dare nose.
The revival of the game show will have 40 new episodes, included modernized versions of the classic obstacles and challenge, and celebrity guests popping up from time to time. While no host has been announced yet, we hope Marc Summers comes back!
Check out the announcement video below and get ready to be rooting for people completing crazy obstacles!
