David has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FVC Bank since its organization. David assumed the role of President upon Burwell Gunn’s retirement. Mr. Pijor was the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of James Monroe Bank and was instrumental in guiding James Monroe Bank through all stages of its successful history from its initial organization through its sale to Mercantile Bankshares Corporation. Prior to becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pijor was an attorney practicing corporate and tax law in Fairfax, Virginia for over 29 years. Mr. Pijor graduated from the University of Michigan, with honors in economics with high distinction and is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
