Best of the 2022 Hot 99.5 Jingle Ball 🌟

Santa Claus may be coming to town, but your favorite artists brought the town down during this year's Hot 99.5's Jingle Ball, Presented By Capital One.

This year's Jingle Ball performances rang through Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C, with nothing less than perfection and festive holiday cheer featuring artists Nicky Youre, Jax, Tate McRae, Ava Max, Khalid, Sam Smith & Kim Petras, Lauv, and Mr.Worldwide himself, Pitbull. From our extravagant countdown starting the show to Pitbull's confetti canyons ending the night, Hot 99.5's Jingleball was a festive event that is memorable every year.

Below are special moments and short recaps from HOT 99.5's Jingle Ball 2022.

Nicky Youre Lifted The (sun) Roof To Start The Show

After the painstaking traffic we endured driving into DC, we needed a bit of sunshine – and Nicky brought it.

Jax Had A Secret; Look Closely

Jax realized shortly before the show start that her onesie was in a more PG13 spirit than she thought. In the pre-show interview with Intern John, Jax told us that her brother gifted her the onesie without informing her of the scene hidden in the pattern. In spite of this, Santa may want to have a talk with Prancer and Vixen before December 25th and ensure their actions are family friendly. In her festive onesie, Jax left everything on stage during her performance of "90's kids," "Teenage dirtbag," and her beloved song, "Victoria's Secret."

Tate McRae Is All We Want To Be And More

Tate McRae owned the stage at HOT 99.5's Jingle Ball when she performed her biggest hits, "She's all I want to be" and "you broke me first." Her dance background was evident as she seamlessly led her dancers in a fantastic routine.

We Were a Little More Than Psycho For Ava Max's Illuminating Performance

28-year-old Ava Max brought the drama to the Jingle Ball stage in Washington, D.C. Coming out in a blue bedazzled jumpsuit, this pop star quite literally shined while singing her greatest hits, "Sweet but Psycho," "Kings and Queens," and "The Motto." In the pre-show interview with Elizabethany, Ava stated that her next music phase would be venturing into her Villian Era, starting with her "Diamonds and Dancefloors" album release in January 2023.

Khalid Showcases His Killer Dance Moves All Over Jingle Ball's Stage

Can we talk about Khalid's engagement with the audience at HOT 99.5's Jingle Ball, Presented by Capital One? Between Khalid's certified Platinum hits, "Young, Dumb, and Broke," "Talk," and "Numb," he played a quick game of rock, paper, scissors with a fan in the front row. It was unclear if there was an actual winner, but in our eyes, they both won! P.S. Khalid's rock, paper, scissors go-to is rock.

From the White House to Capital One Arena, Sam Smith Slayed His Performances

Sam Smith twinkled on stage in an entire ensemble of rhinestones and glitter. After singing their newly Platinum-certified single, "Unholy," featuring Kim Petras, at the White House earlier in the day, they performed it again at HOT 99.5 Jingle Ball. Ending with a Christmas classic, "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas," Sam shared the holiday cheer all around Capital One Arena. Get ready for their album Gloria to be released in January!

Lauv Receives 5x Multi-Platinum Certification for "I Like Me Better"

In light of his reoccurring fame, Lauv still reacted humbly when receiving his 5x multi-platinum certification from RIAA after his interview with elizabethany. His passion for that song shone throughout his entire performance at HOT 99.5 Jingle Ball 2022 and had the audience singing along to every word.

Pitbull Once Again Showed Us He Is Mr. Worldwide

Did Pitbull promise us his frequent flyer miles? Debatable. Did he give us a great show? Absolutely! Mr. Worldwide started his set with a few of his top tracks, "Don't Stop the Party," "Hotel Room Service, and "Fireball," and ended with " Give Me Everything," and boy did the audience comply.

What an unforgettable night. Follow along on our social platforms for more exclusive content, and stay tuned for the interviews with each artist!
