Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has shared heartbreaking news...the loss of his newborn son.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo & girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez said in a shared Instagram statement.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness," they continued in the post. The parents also thanked the doctors and nurses for their "expert care and support" and ended the note by addressing their son as their angel.
Ronaldo & Rodriguez announced that they were expecting twins back in October and are already parents to their 4-year old daughter Alana. Ronaldo also fathers 4-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo, and 11-year-old son Cristiano Jr.
