If you're in Annapolis, get ready for a sight in the sky this afternoon!
To celebrate the commencement of the Naval Academy, the Blue Angels will be flying over Maryland's capital around approx. 2PM.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department shared that "all start/end times are approximations and may vary due to weather, etc. The RT450 Naval Academy Bridge will be closed during the practice runs and show. We will continue to provide updated information as it comes."
Residents and guests of the area are being warned of traffic delays through 5PM today caused by today's events, especially on the following routes: Taylor Avenue, Rowe Boulevard, Route 450 northbound and southbound in the area of the Naval Academy Bridge, Route 648, Greenbury Point Road and St. Margaret’s Rd. Some of these roads may even be closed.
