Blue Angels And Thunderbirds Do Flying Tribute To NYC COVID-19 Frontline Workers

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will do a spectacle in the sky this weekend to honor frontline workers.

The flight demonstration squadrons will flyover Baltimore, Washington DC and Atlanta this Saturday, May 2. According to CBS Baltimore, "Flyovers in Baltimore will start at 11:30 a.m. and last around 15 minutes. They will then head to D.C. and surrounding communities starting at 11:45 a.m. and last around 20 minutes."

More details on the route will be released on May 1.

Residents who want to watch the flyover are reminded to continue practicing social distancing when observing by avoiding crowding around local landmarks and remaining 6 feet away from other individuals.
