Okay, so THIS IS COOL.
According to People, there's a Google Chrome extension called "Netflix Party" which lets multiple users watch Netflix at the same time - "Once a user selects a program to watch, they can send a link to friends to “invite” them to watch the show with them. (Invitees must also have the extension in order to join the party). The extension also enables users to type messages to one another while watching the program, allowing viewers to share their thoughts in real-time."
IT'S ALMOST LIKE THE REAL LIFE "THE CIRCLE" - just instead of getting voted off, you watch TV together.
