Well this is kind of a surprise.
Clare Crawley first came onto our tv's on Juan Pablo's season of 'The Bachelor'. She didn't get the ring, but was runner-up and definitely gave him a speech to remember for not choosing her. From there, she was on two 'Bachelor in Paradise' seasons, and even got engaged on 'Bachelor: Winter Games', but that didn't last - so here we are.
She's 38 years old, which makes her the oldest 'Bachelorette' in history - and after this current season, maybe that's a good thing that we'll get not 22- and 23-year-olds who say "I'm ready for marriage" when in reality, they're not.
