NASCAR driver, Ryan Newman, was involved in a serious accident on Sunday in the race at Daytona Beach.
According to WFLA, "Newman was in the lead in the last lap of overtime on Monday night when his car slammed into the wall and flipped onto its roof. Another car then hit Newman’s in the driver’s side, sending it skidding upside-down along the track." The video and photos circulated the internet on Sunday, making it go viral, just 2 days before the anniversary of the crash that killed Dale Earnhardt.
Today, Roush Fenway Racing posted a photo of Ryan Newman waking out of the hospital where he was treated, hand in hand with his two daughters.
