A North Carolina couple lost their beloved cat, Cinnabun, who they had for over 19 years. They couldn't bare to separate from said deceased cat, so they paid $25,000 to CLONE THEIR CAT. AND THEY DID IT SUCCESSFULLY.
A Texas - based company which is known for cloning dogs, cats, and horses is apparently a thing. So they bought a kit and sent over a skin and saliva sample - and BAM. Cinnabun 2.0 was born and the couple even says that the now five month old kitten acts just the same as the first version of their cat.
AND I'M JUST VERY CONFUSED BY THIS.
