WARNING: Health Officials Warn of Measles Outbreak in Northern VA

REALLYYYYYY not sure why this is so hard to do.

Health officials have issued a warning of measles outbreak in Northern Virginia, according to ABC7. "Measles is HIGHLY contagious and it's spread by something as simple as coughing, sneezing, and contact with droplets from the nose, mouth, or throat of an infected individual."

Officials of the Northern Virginia Health Departments are working to identify people who were at the following locations during the following time frames:

  • Dulles International Airport in Terminal A and Baggage Claim level:Sunday, June 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Novant Health UVA Health System Haymarket Medical Center in the emergency department: Sunday, June 2 at 11 p.m. through early Monday, June 3 at 4:30 a.m.
  • Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in the emergency department, including the waiting area:Tuesday, June 4 from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

It starts off with a fever greater than 101 degrees, runny nose, watery red eyes, and a cough and spreads into a rash over the entire body.
