Doesn't seem like Cal Ripken, Jr. is ready to save the struggling Orioles just yet.
He told TMZ, "I don't know about this phase of my life. I kind of like relaxing a little bit."
Granted, the Orioles are the second worst team in baseball, coming off the heels of the worst season title last year. Cal just doesn't want to be a part of the front office that fixes it all. He likes being an unofficial ambassador for the team and he says he "kind of likes" these rebuilding periods because young guys get an opportunity they may not have had otherwise.
