Empire is coming to an end...but honestly, I'm not shocked. Not one bit.
After the whole fiasco went down with star of the show, Jussie Smollett, one thing was made clear: whether or not he lied and got away with it or it DID happen even with all the evidence looking fishy, Jussie Smollett wasn't returning to Fox's hit show.
After it's premiere in 2015, it was Fox's number-one rated drama and was strong for the first couple of seasons, but as all shows, ratings dropped, especially with the Jussie Smollett case.
It's no surprised they're ending it now, because I used to be SUPER in to it but without the character of Jamal, it's just not the same.
