Montgomery County Special Olympics Team Competing on World Stage!

OH MY GOSH YAY!

According to WJLA, a Montgomery County Special Olympics cheerleading team has been chosen to represent the United States in the inaugural world championship event for Special Olympics Cheerleading! The event is going to be in Orlando at the end of April.

The JOY Supernova's coach, Roni Septoff, couldn't be prouder of her team. "The learn to do things that other people take for granted, and they're fabulous at it and they try so amazingly hard."

The team is made up of 17 athletes from 13 years old all the way to 30. They're halfway to their goal of $12,000 - you can donate HERE to help them get there!
