Passengers are stranded across 2 continents due to WOW Air ceasing operations immediately this morning. A statement that has been issued states that there are no further flights available.
Six flights, including Baltimore, New York, Montreal, Toronto, Boston and Detroit have been grounded, along with seven cities in Europe: Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Copenhagen.
Thousands of passengers have found themselves stuck, some not in their home countries and that's where the problem lies. Some airfares are offering 'rescue fares' for people that aren't in their home country, but if you're still in the US and you live in the US, that may not be available.
