"Empire' star Jussie Smollett has reportedly pleaded 'not guilty' for his 16-count indictment.
This shouldn't come as a surprise, considering he has stuck to his story throughout this entire mess the last couple of weeks. According to TMZ, he must be at every single court date going forward, with his first date set for mid-April. He's allowed to travel back and forth from LA and NY for meetings with his lawyers and is required to check back in within 24 hours when he returns back to Chicago.
While he's expected to enter a plea, the future of 'Empire' is basically in his hands.
