Authorities are on the scene of a situation involving an active shooter in Annapolis, Maryland.
According to on-scene reports from staff at the Capital Gazette newspaper, a gunman entered their newsroom and started shooting, killing several people. Officials have reported that five people lost their lives.
The shooter is in custody. ATF and FBI officials, Anne Arundel County and Prince George's County authorities have responded.
