NBC Washington has reported that a pedestrian tunnel is coming to Bethesda, MD underneath of Rockville Pike near the Medical Center Metro Station. The changes are being made due to a 3,000 person increase in pedestrian crossings near the National Military Medical Center and we can expect road closures in the area from 10PM to 5AM starting as early as this week.
