Set a reminder... the National Park Service says the peak Cherry Blossom bloom this year will take place so early that it could be the earliest time on record.
Peak bloom is expected to take place between March 14 through March 17.
Because of this early start to the bloom season, the National Cherry Blossom Festival will start now on March 15 and run through April 16.
Once they bloom, the cherry blossoms can remain on trees up to 10 days. Last year's peak bloom was March 25.
