After years of arguing in federal courts, Lord & Taylor has come out victorious in their lawsuit against Lerner, the owners/developers of White Flint Mall in Montgomery County.
Three judges in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously decided to uphold a 2015 verdict that awarded Lord & Taylor $31 million for breach of contract after Lerner tore down White Flint Mall, leaving Lord & Taylor to stand alone when their lease called for being attached to a "first-class" mall until at least 2042.
