Long-time favorite Canton hangout Looney's Pub was shut down on Tuesday by Baltimore City Health Inspectors for violating multiple health codes.
Among the reasons listed on the Health Department website:
"improper food handling, improper hand washing, improper cold and hot holding temperatures, improper food storage, rodent and infect infestation, and general unsanitary conditions."
The bar has been given time to resolve the violations before they are reinspected and allowed to reopen pending corrective action. There is no word on when it might reopen.
