An infestation of bed bugs and rodents have been found at DC's Savoy Elementary School at 2400 Shannon Pl SE that is forcing the school to close to students on Monday & Tuesday.
A letter was sent to parents today by DC Public Schools to alert them to the thorough cleaning expected to occur on Monday and Tuesday that would target all soft materials such as rugs, coats, blankets and pillows.
Students will still have school next week, but at an alternate location yet to be announced by DCPS.
