Roseann Sdoia was a spectator near the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013. She was hit by shrapnel from the second bomb that exploded.
Firefighter Mike Materia stepped in and saved her life by using a belt as a makeshift tourniquet and he held her hand as she was rushed to the hospital. Her mom tried to set her up with him.
Meteria was right by her side through her amputation and the rest is history.
Now, they're engaged! Congratulations to the happy couple!
