This weekend Maryland State Police will offer FREE steering wheel locks to owners of Hyundai and Kia vehicles that use a physical key to start.
The steering wheel locks will be available at 14 Maryland State Police Barracks on a first come first serve basis on March2 & 3rd between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. You do NOT need to register, however you will need your license and registration.
The following barracks will offer the steering wheel locks:
- Bel Air Barrack
- North East Barrack
- JFK Highway Barrack
- Rockville Barrack
- Forestville Barrack
- College Park Barrack
- Golden Ring Barrack
- Westminster Barrack
- Waterloo Barrack
- Glen Burnie Barrack
- Leonardtown Barrack
- Prince Frederick Barrack
- La Plata Barrack
- Annapolis Barrack
One-wheel lock will be provided per vehicle owner while supplies last. Visit mdsp.maryland.gov for barrack addresses and contact information.
