Lewis Capaldi Was Gifted A Bizarre Statue Of Himself From His Old School

Turns out we have another David Beckham scenario on our hands because Lewis Capaldi was recently gifted a statue from his alma mater and it doesn't quite capture his good looks!

St. Kentigern's Academy in Scotland presented Capaldi with his own bronze statue that has bulging eyes and long extremities earlier this week and was created by the school's art department and a group of fourth-year students.

The art project apparently took six months, and all involved were sworn to absolute secrecy because they made this statue weird looking on purpose.

According to the school's principal, the statue was inspired by Capaldi's new album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, but the school also wanted to prank him knowing that Capaldi would get a laugh out of it and fortunately for them he did!

You can see what the statue looks like below, but something tells us this won't be the last weird bronze statue we see this year!

You can also see a video of Capaldi's reaction to the statue being unveiled below!
