If you’ve used Facebook in the last 16 years, you can grab part of a $725 million settlement from its parent company Meta that is tied to multiple privacy violation lawsuits that were filed after the Cambridge Analytica scandal in 2018.
Anyone who qualifies has to go to the official claim website and provide their information by August 25th of this year, but don’t start spending the money yet; the amount you get will depend on how many people file a claim, and it won’t be paid out until later this year at the earliest.
