Staring into Someone's Eyes For 10 Mins has Same Affect As Getting High

Apparently if you stare into someone's eyes, include yours in a mirror, if can make you feel like your hallucinating or like you are tripping on LSD.

Why? The Troxler Effect. The Troxler effect is an optical illusion affecting visual perception. This was first discovered by Swiss physician and philosopher Ignaz paul Vital. He noticed when he focused on a certain point on an image, colors & objects in his peripheral started to fade or disappear.

According to YourTango:

By making direct eye contact with someone, you become temporarily disconnected from your environment and natural surroundings. This is because when we stare at a focal point for a prolonged period of time, details in your peripheral vision gradually begin to disappear.
