Lizzo Played A Flute Owned By James Madison At Capital One Arena

Lizzo made history last night at Capital One Arena as she became the first person to actually play a 200-year-old crystal flute that belonged to former President James Madison!

Lizzo made it all happen after she connected with Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden earlier this week to visit the library and see the 1,800-piece flute collection, but she later surprised fans by bringing out Hayden to the show so that she could play the crystal flute that was first crafted in 1813.

Lizzo's reaction said it all, which you can watch below, but here's what she said:

“Bitch, I just twerked and played James Madison’s flute from the 1800s.Thank you to the Library of Congress for preserving our history and making history cool. History is freaking cool, you guys!”
