Researchers from the University of Texas analyzer more than 1 million posts from nearly 7,000 Reddit users who had posted about their breakups. According to the study, users started to increase their use of "I" about 3 months before they broke up with their partner. Using "I," "myself," "me," or "mine" indicates they have become more self-focused.
