25-year-old Nicholas Bostic is being hailed as a hero after he saved 5 children from a burning house.
Bostic got out of his car when he passed a house ablaze in flames in Lafayette, Indiana with no firetrucks in sight. He bravely decided to enter the house to see if anyone was trapped inside and discovered 4 children between the ages of 1-18 years old asleep. After waking them up and getting them outside, they shared that there was one more kid in the house.
According to TMZ, Bostic re-entered the home and found a 6-year-old child on the lower level. Due to the heavy smoke however, he and the child made their way upstairs and jumped from a window to exit the property.
The child made it away unscathed but Bostic was flown to a local hospital to be treated for severe smoke inhalation and a cut on his arm.
It is unknown where the parents were in the situation.
Bostic's cousins Richard created a GoFundMe page and said "this kid is the real deal."
