Ok, so it's the question we've all be asking for years!! Why is there SO much air in chip bags?
In in a now deleted TikTok, a Frito-Lay employee revealed the reason! Selena Aragon works in merchandising and posted saying that the "air" in the bag is nitrogen and the reason it's there is to keep the chips safe and to keep the chips fresher longer.
