Have you seen the new Tiktok trend of grilling sunflowers?
Essentially people are taking the head of a sunflower, expose the seeds, grilling them and eat it like corn on the cob. (below)
But these sunflower seeds are not as crunch as when you buy them in the store. Apparently when the seeds are really young they get a nice crisp to them but are still really soft so they kind of "pop" in your mouth.
